The instructions for disassembling a pool table

When disassembling a pool table, the play plate is the bulky component. But even the longer gap frames or mirrors need a minimum of transport or storage space. Depending on the table model, the game board can consist of up to three individual parts. If they become separated, careful repositioning will be required.

1. Unscrew the band mirror

First you need to loosen the screws on the mirror. On most billiard tables, two screws on the head sides and three screws on the long sides have to be loosened.

2. Remove edge protection

If the boards have corner or edge protection made of metal, you have to lift them off. They are usually secured by locking devices that can be pushed in at the side. Push the metal sheets "free " and lift them off.

3. Remove the perforated collar

Pull the perforated collar off the border frame. If they are stuck together, you can make them easier to remove by warming them up and using a spatula.

4th. Remove ball nets

If the ball nets or a return mechanism are attached directly to the gang frame, loosen these connections.

5. Lift off the band mirror

Now you first lift off the band mirror on one short front side. Always lift off with an assistant to avoid one-sided stress on the components.

6th. Lift off the playing plate

The now exposed playing plate can be lifted off. It is important to lift it slowly at at least two, preferably three or four, lifting points. If the panel is divided, you can remove the joints with a cutter.
