Coffee machines are produced all over the world. In the following, we will briefly introduce you to the best-known manufacturers of coffee machines in Germany and give you an overview of their product range.

  • WMF Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG: founded in 1880. WMF manufactures modern filter coffee machines with a very chic design. The prices range from 35 to 115 euros. WMF also offers stylish coffee pad machines, which are available from just under 100 euros, as well as fully automatic coffee machines from 500 to over 2000 euros.
  • Siemens: founded in 1847. Siemens also manufactures simple filter coffee machines with a very modern design. The currently most expensive Siemens filter coffee machine in Porsche design (!) costs over 300 euros. They also have reasonably priced fully automatic coffee machines with prices starting at 370 euros.
  • AEG Hausgeräte GmbH: founded in 1883, merged with Daimler-Benz in 1996. Most AEG coffee machine models are filter coffee machines. However, they also offer an espresso machine for just over 100 euros and a filter coffee machine with an integrated grinder for 134 euros. There is also a range of espresso coffee capsule machines with prices starting at 60 euros.
  • Braun GmbH: founded in 1921. Braun manufactures simple, simple filter coffee machines with prices ranging from 35 to almost 90 euros.

  • VARTA Consumer Batteries GmbH & Co. KGaA (Russel Hobbs): 1887 founded. Russel Hobbs offers filter coffee machines with a pretty, round design in different metal colors. The crowning glory of the product range is a coffee machine with an integrated grinder, which is currently available for 305 euros. Simpler models without a grinder are available from 30 to 40 euros. An espresso machine for just under 90 euros is also part of their product range.
  • Severin: founded in 1892. Severin offers both simple and visually unusual filter coffee machines from 20 euros, several smaller fully automatic coffee machines around 400 euros and a few espresso machines from 50 euros.
