The purified sites can be treated with a depth reason (€ 4.81 at Amazon *), but this is not absolutely necessary. When processing scratch plaster, the drying must be considered. As follows:

1. The touched up repair plaster or mortar (7.79 € at Amazon *) is brought into the hollow areas of the old plaster with a trowel. Light re-compacting by pressing down in layers leads to a homogeneous consistency.
2. The mortar is formed in a slight upward bulge, so that an elevation is created that protrudes about half a centimeter above the plaster height.
3. The filled areas must dry until they no longer stick. A fork can be used about every ten minutes to test whether there is still any filler sticking to the prongs.
4th. When the filler no longer adheres, it is scraped into shape with a nail board or saw blade using circular movements. The texture of the old plaster is used for orientation.
5. In the case of cracks, scratching takes place in an elongated, meandering direction, in the case of compact surfaces from the inside out. Excess filler is absorbed and removed from the scraper tool.

Tips & Tricks In order to keep your scratched plaster facade as optically uniform as possible, you can color the mortar with pigments. Casein and stone flour are helpful in adjusting the depth of color and strength. Note, however, the change in effect between wet and dry repair mortar.
