Tips from Guido: THESE 5 fashion classics should be owned by every woman!

Timeless basics are the basis of every outfit. We asked fashion professional Guido Maria Kretschmer which 5 fashion classics every woman should have in her closet.

You don't necessarily need the latest trend items to dress well. Because stylish looks can also be created with timeless basics. The advantage of the rather simple, but noble clothing items: They don't go out of style that quickly and can be easily re-combined and spiced up with accessories.
Fashion designer and "Shopping Queen " juror Guido Maria Kretschmer is also a real fan of these fashion classics. He told us which 5 basics every woman should have in her closet and why.

VIDEO: Listen to Guido and see if you have these must-haves in your closet.

1. The white blouse

Guido Maria Kretschmer: "There is no plan B for a white blouse. She is always the first choice and a reliable partner who will never cheat on you."
That's right, Guido! A white blouse always works - it is timeless and elegant. For the office, you can combine the blouse with simple black trousers or a pencil skirt. If you prefer something a little more casual: Leave the first button of the blouse open and combine it with long, multi-layered chains. Now add a pair of destroyed jeans and sneakers - a cool casual look is ready.

2. The trench coat

Guido Maria Kretschmer: "The trench coat is a beige-colored all-rounder that is not warm enough in winter, only suits the horse in summer, but can be your best friend in spring and autumn."

Here, too, Guido is right: the trench coat is the perfect transition jacket. Whether in the long, casual version or very classic - with a trench coat, every outfit looks more chic. The thin coat goes well with sporty looks with sweaters, skinny jeans and sneakers as well as with elegant dresses with pumps.

3. Blazer

Guido Maria Kretschmer: "A blazer is the big brother of a sleeveless vest. If he is well cut, a woman can even rule a country with him."

We don't want to look like Angela Merkel, but we know what Guido means by that. We are always well dressed with a blazer. But the fashion classic can do a lot more than just business: Style your black blazer with a white oversize shirt and skinny jeans and combine it with sneakers. The blazer already looks super casual.

4th. The little black one

Guido Maria Kretschmer: "The little black dress makes every woman look great. Sometimes the little black dress can also be a big dark one."

Yes, the little black dress should be chosen so that it fits the figure optimally (here you can find out how to do it). But once you've found the perfect cut, it's a real all-rounder. It is particularly great as a party outfit or to go for a chic dinner in the evening. You only need to combine overknees or high heels, some jewelry and voilá!
The little black dress can also be suitable for everyday use. Just throw on a casual cardigan and wear chucks with it - an outfit for a stroll through town or a day at university is ready.

5. The pencil skirt

Guido Maria Kretschmer: "A pencil skirt can be so conspicuous and dangerous that it could also be used as a weapon."

We too think: a pencil skirt like this is simply super sexy! It accentuates the figure and can be worn both chic with a white blouse or rocky with a wide sweater and biker boots. Our tip: Put the top in the waistband. This emphasizes your slim waist perfectly.

Finally, Guido's tip: Invest in a good bra!

"One of the basics that every woman should have in her wardrobe is a well-fitting, high-quality bra," says Guido. "It supports and shapes the chest and also ensures that a dress or shirt, for example, fits well."Many women, according to the designer, forget how important it is that everything fits underneath. "In order to find the optimal model for you, you can also get professional advice."
By the way: Every third woman wears the wrong bra size. Anyone who wears a model that pinches, pushes or slips not only feels uncomfortable to wear, but also risks damage to their health. These range from back problems and headaches to unsightly pressure points and deformations of the chest.
